Mr. Priyaratna Jha is a seasoned professional with a diverse and extensive career in various sectors, including shipping, metal trading, debt restructuring, international trade, and more. Currently serving as the Managing Director at Varad Energy & Transmission Private Limited, he brings over a year of experience to his role, where he utilizes his skills in administration, business strategy, international logistics, and debt collection.
Prior to his current position, Mr. Jha held the position of Vice President at Five Star Chartering Private Limited for a remarkable 11 years and 4 months. During his tenure, he was responsible for commercial vessel management, supply chain management, multimodal transportation, commodity trading, and risk and recovery of sales and services. His role also involved administration and business development.
Before that, Mr. Jha served as a Director at Yashodhara Co-operative, focusing on banking and debt syndication, and as a Partner at Rashmi Steels, where he was engaged in metal trading and the manufacturing of aluminum extrusions.
